"We had a very plaisant stay in the cottage. The house was clean and ready to welcome us. We had everything we needed for cooking (the frying pans are very used and should be changed), thanks for the choice of spices! The view is amazing and the terrasse comfortable. "We spent 1 week in Tallon Lodge with 6 adults and felt very comfortable there. The rooms are very nice, the living area is large and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Ann and Finbarr are wonderful hosts. They gave us a warm welcome and we could turn to them with questions at any time. The big garden and a nice sitting area beside the house are great. The surrounding area is beautiful and the center of Castletownbere only a 15 minutes walk away. I can only recommend this...

"Our family of 7 stayed for several days in the spring and enjoyed watching the lambs in the pasture next door. We were well very well accommodated in the cottage. Utilities are not included, but not unreasonable. Mobile reception is spotty, but the location is quiet, relaxing and not too far away for those needing a rest."
