"There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient."

"First time I have stayed in an old, converted church! The apartment was large, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable! The Wonderful Italy staff were friendly, quick to respond on Whatsapp, and professional. "While the Tiny Studio was spotlessly clean and very cute, it IS tiny. If you weigh more than 250 pounds you will not fit in the tiny shower. Also it is a bit of a walk or a short bus ride from the ferry landing. It’s very easy for a fit young person but my husband and I are 69 and 71. Going up a steep incline while dodging cars and motorcycles was nearly the end of us."

"If a spectacular view of Lake Como is the most important thing for you, this is your place. The windows and balcony face the east arm of the lake and the sunrises were spectacular. We booked this through VRBO but it is managed by an Italian management company and the communication with them was spotty at best. They only provide access information a couple of hours prior to check-in which cause a bit of concern. Kitchen was poorly stocked and the toilet in the shower takes some getting used to....
