"We keep returning to this magical house that is an Australian classic home, built for family fun by the sea and bush walks, back in the days when homes were made for living. Every amenity needed is supplied and our grandkids love playing on the roofed veranda and the beautiful garden, so easy to supervise games and outdoor fun even in the rain. We'll keep returning to Saint Fridas. Thanks Jessica and Steve the caretakers and Evelyn and Kerry the Hostesses of the mostest! XX"

"We loved it! We wished we booked a longer stay! Super pet friendly, stunning views of the countryside, access to a clean and refreshing swimming pool, and comfortable beds. "

"The property is very peaceful and relaxing. The bungalow is farm rustic, clean and comfy. The open outdoor kitchen is very well stocked and it is a lovely place to sit at night and have dinner or early breakfast with the birds. The fresh eggs were also very appreciated! You are a ways on country roads from most things so bring what you need with you and relax. Sandy and Rossi are great hosts. TV is DVD only which was fine for us. Note: the bathroom is only divided by a partial wall which does...

"Great Value for money, especially with that great ocean view from the balcony and family/kitchen/breakfast table room. Only two bad points was that: 1. the cleaner needs to clean all the unmissable large cobwebs on the internal cornices of the breakfast table windows. 2. The breakfast table and the main lounge sliding door windows need rubber insert resealing as it sound like a haunted house at nights with strong coastal breezes. Nice stay and great location."

"Inside house great & very clean, outside needs some attention eg windows need webbing & cleaning, comfortable seating to watch the beautiful views. I would stay again. "

"The scenery and surrounds were gorgeous. The house was comfortable and convenient. The Rotating party was really cool and had us all discussing engineering quite a lot. Lovely welcoming hosts, friendly and accommodating."

The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Beautiful setting, woke to the sounds of all the local bird life and the beautiful foggy valley while watching the sunrise coming up from the mountains. So many animals from the cows grazing to the little magpie that would come for a snack to the green tree frog that would come and croak at night plus rock wallabies that would be hopping past. "Our stay at the Simple Patch was wonderful. Everything about the cottage is so considered, from the huge comfy bed, to the picturesque windows, and the convenience of a well-appointed kitchen. the cottage was private and comfortable, but we loved having the opportunity to bring our young daughter down to the homestead to meet the pony and feed the chickens - a great experience that added to our stay.
