"5 minute walk to the town centre which was really great! Clean inside, lovely place. Only downside was in the description it didn’t say there was 3 levels in the apartment, having 3 young kids it wasn’t kid friendly but problem solved because there was a sofa bed and 2 extra pullout beds upstairs so my younger children could stay on the top floor with me and my partner. Great price I paid was very impressed! "

"We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

We had to stand on a chair to open the blinds and stretch whilst on that chair to open the window to let the musty smell out. "After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."
