"This place was straight out of the 1970's, you even fill out a Guest Registration CARD, yes, that's right, an actual card that you write on with a pen. I haven't done that in tbe US for over 30 years. :) This place is super retro, a blast from the past, the staff was super friendly and the bed was comfy, the place could have been cleaner but it was okay. If you want to experience an old school motel, this is the place. :)"

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. "The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. You can’t just walk out and get in your car. The shuttle was quick don’t get me wrong but it was a little bit of a hassle. "We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. We hope to return! 10 out of 10 all around!! "
