EXPERIENCE A RESTORATION
Lafayette Flats Boutique Vacation Rentals: Four modern vacation rentals in one historic building.

The unique lofts are located on the upper two floors of a 100-year-old cut-stone building. The interior of the building has been lovingly renovated with new electrical, plumbing and heating/cooling systems, but retains much of the original architectural detail and charm.

This listing is for Flat #2, Corten. It is located on the second floor. You will travel up one very large art-filled stairwell (23 steps) to reach your beautiful flat. Please note: there is no elevator in this historic building.

Corten can accommodate two adults. There is a queen-size bed in the bedroom. All four of our flats are designed for couples.

ENJOY LUXURIOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL
The small but fully equipped kitchen is stocked with Fiestaware and gourmet coffee service. Relax after an adventurous day in the luxurious tiled shower and then cozy up to the 42" HD LED TV before drifting off to sleep in the queen size bed covered in high-quality linens. You will find Wiliam Roam toiletries for your convenience.

Park your car and relax. Lafayette Flats is located in the heart of Fayetteville's historic district and just steps away from the delicious locally-owned restaurants, charming shops, friendly pubs, and live music venues that make up one of America's coolest small towns.

You will also find yourself just minutes away from world-class whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip-lining, rock climbing, biking, hiking and more! Lafayette Flats is located right in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park with quick access to trails and outdoor adventure activities.

Cozy Getaway
We stayed in Corten while we explored New River Gorge NP. It is a beautifully decorated, cozy apartment with so many nice art pieces and lots of style. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for the great amenities, books to review, and location was perfect.

Beautiful property and great location!
We stayed in the Corten flat. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were in town for rafting, and it was nice to come back to the rental and relax, then easily walk to any number of great restaurants and bars. We would definitely recommend it!

Cute little place in the heart of Fayetteville. Perfectly clean and comfortable, very nicely decorated. Cozy, so perfect for 1 or 2 people. Hosts are 100% on top of everything. Very proactive and thorough in their communications, and very responsive. Nice little touches such as an online list of their favorite places, local hiking trails book, etc. Absolutely recommended.

Absolutely wonderful spotless, comfy and adorable apartment. Perfect for two people, spotless! Huge modern bathroom, fabulous shower. Bed is very comfortable. Decor is fun and renovation is perfectly done. Great location for walking Fayetteville and for visiting the gorge area. Loved it!!!

Perfect stay
The hosts could not have been more accommodating. They also checked in w/us a few times to be sure we were satisfied. The flat is so clean & cute, decorated with unique art & nice linens. Loved the set of dishes! They even have great travel books to help with planning visits to the state parks & NP. They offer a list of rainy day activities (thankfully we didn't need alternative plans). Location is perfect, w/in walking distance to restaurants. We highly recommend this flat!! But..... as the hosts tell you, you must be able to walk a flight or 2 of steeeep stairs.... no elevator in this historic building.

Fayetteville Gem
Having never stayed in Fayetteville before I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this property was perfect for the weekend trip I had planned. The actual unit was extremely clean, well decorated, and gorgeous. The location is very centrally located to the restaurants and attractions in the area and the owners have a whole book of recommendations and advice for your trip. I would absolutely stay here again.

I've been wanting to stay at Lafayette Flats since I found them on Instagram! As a fellow host, I love what they've done with the old bank building. It's utterly charming, well appointed with everything you need, and so convenient to downtown Fayetteville + New River attractions etc. Amy and Shawn provide wonderful up-to-date recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Beautiful! The aesthetics created with furniture, artwork and layout create a space that is a pleasure to spend time in. Comfortable! Linens, towels, mattress and seating are all top notch. Kitchen and bath are well appointed. And, the flat was immaculate! Luxurious! Lafayette Flats is a beautifully crafted space which rivals many boutique hotels. The hosts' vision for converting an old bank building into 4 magnificent flats was truly a labor of love. Location! Small town vibe, many amenities including shops and restaurants, and the New River Gorge activities are but a few wonderful things this area has to offer. Amy and Shawn! They are hosts willing to make your stay the best it could be. Many communications about suggested itineraries, restaurants, adventures and hikes made our stay seamless and memorable. They are probably some of the best that West Virginia has to offer!
