"I loved everything about this home! It was spacious enough for the 5 of us. The hosts provided everything and more: towels and linen, soap and shampoo, coffee, small cooking essentials such as nonstick spray, oil, salt & pepper, family games, travel and tourist information. It was all there! And I particularly loved the history of the home that was evident everywhere. What a gem. "

"We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!"

"We needed a dog friendly place to base our New River Gorge trip and this fit the bill. Plenty of room and everything went smoothly. No dishwasher so you'll have to hand wash any dishes you use but that's not a huge issue. The window unit air conditioners worked well enough we were quite comfortable.I would add that you are parking in front of the left hand garage door but you are staying in the main house. The keypad is on the back sun room door. "

"Home was good, central location for a 4 day exploration of this part of WV. Got some quirks, but comfortable.....One caution is that parking is extremely difficult for a full size pick up truck (F150). Backing in is only choice, and even then a huge stump is in play. Basically left F150 parked all weekend, as you can't get it out with another car in driveway ...other car was Ridgeline compact pickup.Watch your head if you are tall. "This cabin is perfect. It’s spotlessly clean. It had everything I needed for coffee in the morning to enjoy the absolute stunning Mountain Views. The bed was so comfy. Towels were plush. The host was so nice. I even walked the cute mushroom trail on the property. I wish I could spend every weekend morning there with a cup of coffee. Not far from the National Park. "
