Calm Tide -On Ann Street, walking distance to Beaufort waterfront.

Calm Tide is the perfect family oasis. This beautiful home features 2 bedrooms (3 beds) with additional IKEA rollout bed in private area near kitchen and private studio in back yard with IKEA rollout bed. It has 1.5 bathrooms plus spacious outdoor shower. Stainless steel appliances throughout the kitchen, a large master suite with flat screen TV. Second bedroom features full over queen bunk bed with flat screen TV and reading area. There is an extra bedroom space located off the kitchen, with couch / pull out full bed, TV and a curtain providing privacy. Studio located in back yard has a pull out IKEA bed, vintage coffee table, TV, refrigerator, & Mini split Heat/AC. Bring your hammock and relax in the spacious fenced in backyard while cooking out on the grill, or relax around the fire pit on chilly fall nights. With Calm Tide located in the quiet & spacious section of Ann Street, you can enjoy a stroll or use the (4) provided bikes to ride to the local shops and restaurants in historic downtown Beaufort. Calm Tide is centrally located- one block from Taylor Creek, 3/4 mile from Beaufort town center or Boat House Marina in the opposite direction where there is a public boat and kayak launch.
This home is also only 10 minutes from Morehead City Waterfront and Atlantic Beach! Please note that inside fireplace is for decoration only, and not operable, enjoy the outside patio fire pit instead. Ample parking in driveway and room for boat trailer. Large fenced in backyard, no pets on premises please and No Smoking. Security Camera outside facing driveway and on front porch, not in use during stay.

Charming home
This home is just charming. Clean and well appointed. It has everything you could imagine needing. The hosts are very gracious and communicate wonderfully. Very close to historic Beaufort. A real gem.

Delightful stay
The cottage was super cute and a great size for a family of 4. We loved taking a 15 min walk to downtown each night for ice cream and enjoyed its proximity to the beaches, the boat ramp and ferries. The owners were easy to get in touch with and just delightful. Highly recommend.

Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer! Prompt and thorough communication from host, ideal location in Beaufort, property and amenities were even better than described. We have no hesitation in recommending this property. Can’t wait till we can come visit again!

Perfect getaway
We had the best time at Calm Tide. The owners/property managers are so kind and very responsive. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Some of our favorite things about the house were the porch swing, outdoor shower, record player, and close proximity to town. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection
Perfection is the best way to describe Calm tide! So much attention to detail in this home! Jack and Lindi were the best! They were so easy to communicate with and answered every question, and also gave us dining recommendations. The outdoor shower is a sanctuary…don’t miss it! The golf cart was also great to have; a short and scenic ride to front street . Do not hesitate renting…you won’t regret it! Thanks Jack and Lindi for sharing your beautiful place with us 😎

The home itself was clean, bright, comfy, and nestled into the historic town of Beaufort perfectly. But the real gem are the hosts! Calm Tides is a gem of a spot in Beaufort
The house was very clean. We really liked the layout…and the small touches made our stay that much better. For instance, whole bean coffee with grinder ready for us/guests. Record player with some great vinyl selections. Fire place outside. Nice fenced backyard. Decor was spot on and charming. Beds pretty comfortable. Location was a bit out but a golf cart was available. And Jack and Lindi are great hosts. Quick to respond. Personable and cared about our stay. Highly recommend. One of the best VRBO stays we’ve had in Beaufort…or anywhere for that matter. Thanks Jack and Lindi! (and no I’m not related to them in any manner - lol - just my honest review and I rarely take the time to do it but felt it was warranted).

A very Beaufort holiday
Calm Tide was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway for our blended family. The property is perfectly nestled near downtown just off Front Street. We enjoyed cooking oysters and sitting by the fire pit at night and boating and shopping during the day. There was plenty of room for game night but also plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy a moment to yourself. Jack and Lindi exceptional hosts, super attentive before, during, and after our stay. We are already planning our next trip to Calm Tide.

Perfect Beaufort girls weekend
Four of us stayed three night at Jack and Lindi’s beautiful home in Beaufort. Located on a quiet residential street and within walking distance to waterfront, shopping and restaurants. Having use of the golf cart was awesome. They have thought of everything you could need in the home and literally we just brought clothes and food/drinks. Plenty of space of space. Backyard is well done also with fire pit and everything provided to use if you desire on cool nights. Jack and Lindi communicated prior to our stay and quick to answer any questions. I had a minor issue which was my fault and they were such gracious hosts. I hope to stay at their home again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a stay in Beaufort

Such a Great Stay
Wonderful visit to Beaufort with family. The house was stellar, everything we could ask for. Wonderful deck area, charming decor. Enjoyed the turntable with some classic vinyl. Easy walk to restaurants and the waterfront, and kayaks to explore Carrot Island. Thank you to Jack and Lindi for a great trip.

The home is well equipped for a fun vacation. We enjoyed the quiet location and lovely outdoor amenities - morning coffee on front porch swing and dinner in beautiful tree covered backyard. The golf cart made the trips for ice cream to the quant town easily assessable.

Perfect in every way
This was our first time staying at Calm Tide, and it did not disappoint. Home and amenities are so well thought out, with an organic option for everything from hand soap to laundry detergent. We immediately felt at home! Outdoor shower was enjoyed by my son's every day! Home is in a perfect location, within walking distance of everything in historic Beaufort, friendly neighbors and porch swing to enjoy your morning coffee. Hosts were amazing and beyond accommodating , best stay ever. We will be back!!

A Gem in Beaufort
This location was perfect for our recent vacation for us & our two young children with lots of great amenities, close to downtown, access to paddling and an easy drive to nearby beaches. Inside, the living space was neat, clean and well thought out. The two bedrooms were spacious for us and the kids and the pull out futon (and bonus ADU in the back) also would give lots of options for a bigger group to stay. We especially loved the outdoor shower which allowed us to clean up easily after outdoor adventures on the water. The location was about perfect, it was under a mile to walk to the Beaufort waterfront for dining, half a mile to a public launch for kayaking or paddle boarding, and less than a 10 minute drive to Radio Island for the beach. The neighborhood was charming with lots of friendly neighbors. The owners were super duper, extremely communicative and very accommodating. They checked in with us right after booking, ahead of our arrival, and a few times during our stay - not in an obtrusive way - but rather to see if there were any needs they could help with. For sure we will be back and could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. We have stayed in Beaufort many times, and this was our favorite stay. The backyard was perfect for grilling out, and they were so generous to provide kayaks and paddle boards. The house is perfect, great location to water and front street, will definitely stay again!
