"Amazing quaint, cozy and well maintained inn located on the side of a mountain right near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Decorated for the holidays, ordered the bison burger at the restaurant downstairs aftet a long drive. Property manager husband and wife team were welcoming and full of hospitality for a solo snd weary traveler staying one night with her dog. Very pet friendly property. Room was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Bed, comforter, blankets and pillows were nice and snug....

"Beautiful little place on top of a mountain with a fantastic view. We loved the quiet and seclusion. The house was clean and had everything you could want including reliable wifi. It's in a gated mountain community so safety wasn't an issue. Since the area took a hit from Hurricane Helene the owner was good about communicating an alternate route to take because of road and bridge closures. We will definitely stay here again."

"Was charged as though the reservation was made, but I never received a confirmation of any sort, nor a checkin notice/instructions. The system sort of stopped and froze, but the property charged my credit card, so be aware. Vrbo doesn't know how to proceed without a reservation number, and referred me to the property host, who referred me back to Vrbo. This has been a vicious cycle so far."

Before you arrive make sure to print out all the information that the owner sends you. There is no cell phone or internet reception in the area. "Loved the location. The house had fun games and entertaining aesthetics. Super cute and pet friendly with pet cages, a bed, etc. Very specious with a mom-n-pops environment. I would have done another check around the living room as we found what looked like previous owner's dog feces on the floor and a mild smell of dog urine by the crate, but otherwise, it was very well organized and clean."
