- NOTE: Chapman Farm is participating in a nesting program for native birds in the field behind the farmhouse for your viewing pleasure. Hay season is in full swing in summer, spring, and sometimes into the fall. You might get a glance at the farm equipment in action. In springtime, you can catch the baby calves running in the field across from the farmhouse. Our horses are rotated to the field in front of the house at times for your viewing pleasure
