"Super cute and quaint. Room was perfect size, bathroom was modern. Food was great. Close to promenade. Bikes were great and staff was sweet and efficient. "
"We had an excellent week-long stay. It was easily walkable to the downtown shops, restaurants and the beach. We traveled with our puppy and there were no problems accommodating him. Overall a very nice place and we would come back!"
"I’m very happy and appreciative of the staff at Icona. I had an A/C issue with our room which certainly wasn’t enjoyable but the nice ladies at the front desk were very understanding of my frustration and went all out to make sure we had an enjoyable stay by switching our room and in the process gave us a wonderful upgraded suite! Thanks for making sure we had a great stay and sorry it took so long for me to write this review! "
"Angel of the Sea has all the charm you could hope for. It’s a beautiful, well maintained mansion. Everyone on the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Excellent breakfast every morning. We were half a block from the beach, a very easy walk. Afternoon tea and cakes were great. "Lovely accommodation! I loved the Victorian ambience mixed with modern comfort/convenience, and the location was great for everything except walking to the beach with a load of equipment (and even that was still doable). My favorite feature was the 24/7 heated indoor pool -- nothing like a quiet midnight swim! My only gripe was that the staff were only rarely sighted; the place often felt empty.
