The drive into Bay St. Louis along the Shore was breathtaking, the historic district is quaint---not commercialized but filled with delightful restaurants and unique shops.
The bungalow is located a short block and a half from the sandy shoreline. The beach had parking, and many facilities (clean bathroom, covered pavilion, a fire pit that you may obtain a permit to use at no charge).
The little bungalow is newly constructed and perfect in everyway....the furnishing were comfy, and new. To say the owner takes care in making sure it's clean and welcoming is such an understatement I can't begin to find the proper words to describe. I can't think of one thing that was missing, and it smelled wonderful!!!
If you are looking for a place to rest and be surrounded by wonderfully kind people, a gorgeous beach, and individually owned shops/restaurants ~this is it!
I was there for the St Patricks Day parades, it was a first for us to see cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and beads thrown from the floats (all the fixin's for St Paddys stew) ....what a TREAT! I can't wait to return, and thank everyone who took Oliver and I into their community and made us feel welcome enough~you made us feel like part of your family and the trip of a lifetime!
