"It was perfect for what we needed to visit family in the area. The loft was a little tight for the 3rd bed (close to the slanted roof), but we knew that was a possibility with 3 adults up there. "My wife and I came to stay for a quiet getaway on the frozen bay, and it turned out to be just perfect for that. We read books and ate pizza from The Log Cabin and watched early 2000s movie dvds on the TV upstairs. The two electric fireplaces inside were running on full the whole time we were out there, but they managed to stave off the cold! "The pictures are very accurate. We had a friendly Peacock stay on the porch overnight with us. The owner told us he is a friendly neighborhood Peacock that stays at different places along the shore. The property is a duplex and the other side was occupied during our stay. The views on the lake, even while frozen, were amazing. The house faces west so you will be treated to amazing sunsets."
