"This was a great place to stay! It is in a great location to day trip to most of the Avalon Peninsula including St. John’s. You are so close you could walk to 3 whale watching tours and for the adventurous it is a 4km walk to the Bay Bulls lighthouse on the East Coast Trail. The balcony looks out over Bay Bulls which was great for the never ending search for whales (bring binoculars). "Property had a nice feel with the decor. Great view. Perfect distance to downtown for walking. Parking was always available and convenient. Also, close to some nice bakeries and park. Nice comfortable bed. It was pretty quiet considering the location and the other tenants. "

"We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday...

"Perry provided helpful instructions on how to access his house. Great parking in a quiet, treed neighbourhood a few kilometers from the city centre. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for making breakfast and one evening meal. Everything in the house was tidy and clean. Good bed too. Perry graciously offered us suggestions on where to eat. A good stay!"

"This was my first time staying in a VRBO and Rob set the standard very high. It was clean, provided the comforts of home, and every detail was thought out. The house was well stocked with staples and communication with the host was timely and helpful. The location was great, we could walk to downtown George Street and Water Street. "Phenomenal view, attractively and comfortably furnished, beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Nicole, our host, was very responsive, answering any questions in a matter of minutes. We had everything we needed for a 6-night stay, including the use of the hot tub on the deck, a BIG plus at the end of a long day of hiking. Highly recommended!"

"The accommodations were modern and updated and very clean. The rental is centrally located near downtown. The AC on the second level was not working during our stay which meant opening windows to cool that level. The road noise outside can be loud at times which made sleeping a little challenging. "Fantastic location with great views and a walking loop on the door. Welcome and service provided by Paula & Pablo was superb. The evening meal was as good if not better than the Michelin starred restaurants we experienced. The breakfast is so good (and this is unheard of) my husband didn’t use ketchup!! Accommodation was delightful, very clean and spacious. Overall an excellent visit, thank you. "
