Holocene is an updated vintage mountain chalet perched on a mountainside boasting a gorgeous view of Great North Mountain and Wolf Gap. Enjoy the outdoors on the wrap-around deck! The great room's huge windows and deck create a tree-top living space. Access to the chalet includes 10 steps down to the front deck and entry door from the driveway. Located within the Bryce Resort community, this chalet is about 1 mile from the Resort's main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and a 1.25 mile drive to the Basye Community Store.

FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The spacious great room includes a dining area and living room with a wood stove. Firewood is provided from late fall through early spring. Please note, however, that the wood stove produces significant heat!
The updated kitchen has classy modern wood cabinets, a grand brick cooking alcove, stainless appliances, and mesmerizing granite countertops. The kitchen is adjacent to the great room and dining area and includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The dining area seats five at the table and another four at the kitchen island. The main floor also includes the primary bedroom with a king bed, a well-appointed renovated full bath, and access to a wrap-around deck with Solo Stove fire pit and gas grill. The spacious loft looks overlooks the great room and through the huge windows into the tree tops. The loft has two bedrooms, each with a queen beds, and a full bath. Sleeps six comfortably.
The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.
The flat screen Smart TV allows guests to log into popular streaming apps, and high-speed 50+mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for working, streaming, and gaming. There's a DVD player for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Reception Office.

This is a Self-Check-In unit. You'll receive check-in instructions via email seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property's address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.
This property has a propane gas grill on the main deck. It does NOT have an outdoor hot tub or fire pit.
Guests have unlimited access to our pool at our reception office (2565 Orkney Grade). The Bryce Resort pool is reserved for Bryce Resort member use only. See pictures of our (Bryce Mountain Escapes) pool in the unit listing. It's open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.
