We had a wild tubing adventure during our stay and enjoyed some quiet fishing by the waters.It was a perfect spot to relax, rest and create new memories with relatives. "

"The house met all of my expectations. Plenty of towels were provided and extra linens were available as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. "My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)"

"Less spot, was fine for us for the two nights. We didn’t spend much time at the house since we were in town for a wedding and had a lot of festivities surrounding the event. We ran out of toilet paper the first morning I reached out to the host and didn’t get a response for hours. So we had to go out and get our own toilet paper to last us the rest of the day. The stairs are very, very steep to get to the bedrooms, if I had children, I would be more concerned with them. But it was fine for us...

"It was quite elegant, with sparse but modern furnishings. A lot more space than I needed, and so much more than what I expected. The view from the second-story enclosed porch was a dream. I wish I could have had guests over to show it off. The owner was very accommodating in resolving an issue that wasn't even their fault. Hope to stay again."
