Our thoughtfully remodeled, 2-bedroom home is located in the heart of Bar Harbor's fun-filled downtown. This fabulously appointed 2nd-floor apartment boasts a private entrance and a primary bedroom with a cozy seating area overlooking Cottage Street, which makes for a perfect place for your morning cup of coffee. It also features an in-unit washer and dryer, a full kitchen with dining area, a granite-topped island, stainless appliances, air conditioning, propane fireplace and more.

Your home away from home contains all you need for a comfortable getaway once you've seen all the gorgeous local natural attractions. New kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms; everything has been completely remodeled and is sparking clean, using enhanced cleaning procedures.

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed with Organic Cotton Sheets, Fold out twin sofa bed, Seating Area

Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Organic Cotton Sheets, Roll-away twin bed with linens

Living Room: "L" shaped Couch, 50" Smart TV, Propane Fireplace

Bathroom: Oversized subway tile shower, gold fixtures, and rainfall shower head

Kitchen: New cabinets with white granite countertops, mixed metal finishes, stainless appliances, and all the cooking and dining essentials for meals for up to 6.

Our unit is centrally located in the fun, lively heart of town, in the center of dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops. As such, some street noise is unfortunately unavoidable, especially in peak season. While we have never had trouble, exceptionally light sleepers may prefer the 2nd, off-street bedroom.

First Anniversary
My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our first anniversary. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town and this VRBO is located directly in the middle of it all. The location was perfect for walking to food, shops, the pier, and most importantly, the Island Explorer bus stops. Although a little pricey, it was tidy, warm and had everything we needed in the kitchen and extra bedding for snuggling up.

Nice roomy apartment. The hosts addressed the noise issue to some extent but the noise is actually DEAFENING at night - from the bar across the street to the street cleaners & semis that roll through starting at 0445!! Also, the front bedroom is bright as day at night due to lack of room darkening shades. The location is great - right downtown but the lack of sleep doesn’t make up for it.

Outstanding location!
We had the best time staying at this rental property! We were there over the 4th of July and watched the parade from the front bedroom windows, it was so much fun. Absolutely incredible location in the heart of town - but along with the location came some challenges including no dedicated parking and some noise from the nearby bars at night. The property had beautiful natural light, but that also meant it was bright in the mornings. We ended up returning our rental car early to not deal with parking once we were finished with our hiking days and spent the rest of the time walking since we could walk anywhere in town easily. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

The apartment was perfect! It was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed,, we used the washer and dryer to clean up after hiking and kayaking in the very nearby park. The downtown location was fun and convenient. I would definitely come back!

Bar Harbor Property
The property was beautiful, great lighting from the skylights, and great location. The only problem with this property is parking. A parking permit is provided, but there was never a spot available in the designated areas. We had to pay for parking daily by the hour at the Pay for Parking kiosks.

Had a great time, walking distance to everything in town. Easy drive into the national park. Would have been good to know that the free parking was permit street parking and not a spot on the property.

Cottage Street Gem
Let me just start by saying that you really can’t find a better location to stay in Bar Harbor. When I say that you are really in the thick of it, all, I mean that you are truly in the thick of it all. Cottage Street? Say less. Location is by far one of the main selling points of booking this property, but at the end of the day it’s the comfort, amenities, and aesthetic of the apartment that sets the standard even more so. The intentional decorating, beautifully remodeled space, and home away from home environment that Mandy has built really leaves guests feeling like this is their home. I know there are some reviews about sound being an "issue" but this is a non-factor when you consider exactly where you’re staying — in the thick of it all, right in the heart of downtown. You can walk everywhere, there’s a lovely, modern restaurant downstairs that has Mandy’s personal flair blessed all over it, a pub across the street, and even karaoke two doors down on certain nights. Walkability? 100/10. Huge thank you to Mandy for making this possible, I’d love to stay there again when I don’t have to come for work.

Beautiful Unit in Great Location
This was one of the nicest vacation rentals my husband and I have stayed in. Luxurious furnishings and beautiful decor. Walked to everything. As per other reviews, the street noise is there; however, it didn't really bother us. (Back bedroom was definitely quieter.) Communication with owner was great. I'd recommend figuring the parking situation out prior to arrival. It was pouring that day so was a bit hectic but it all worked out. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

A gorgeous condo in the heart of Bar Harbor!
We loved our time in Bar Harbor at this property! It was so much more spacious than we expected and perfectly spotless. The two major issues we had were parking (although once you get into the condo there is a note explaining where you can park for free, it's a couple blocks away so it wasn't bad at all but for loading and unloading it was tricky) and it is definitely noisy with the restaurant music downstairs. We had brought white noise machines for the two bedrooms and those were essential. Otherwise we loved our stay here and could walk to everything we wanted to do around town!

Acadia/Bar Harbor Trip
We enjoyed our four night stay! Mandy’s place is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need. The location is perfect for exploring Acadia during the day with easy access to the park. It is also located right in the middle of the town making it easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Parking was a little difficult with the town being so busy but nothing too bad.

It’s all about that bass!!
This was a clean, beautiful second floor getaway in the heart of Bar Harbor. Great for enjoying Bar Harbor night life. Quiet does not describe this otherwise great home away from home. The sounds of music and partying on the streets went on through the wee hours and we left longing for a good night of sleep, but it was beautiful and the host was lovely.
