A beautifully converted and extended 18th Century loft above a former horse stable, with outstanding views of the Mendip Hills, the Tullet is located just outside Banwell around 7 miles inland from Weston-super-Mare. The property provides an ideal staging post for walking or cycling the Mendips or visiting local towns such as Cheddar, Wells, Clevedon, Weston, Bath and Bristol. It is converted to a very high standard and has a quirky boutique style all its own. Sleeps 2, plus a sofabed.
The Tullet is located at Winthill House, on the Southern slope of Winthill just outside Banwell. The area is rural and is surrounded by green countryside, and looks straight onto Crook Peak, the ‘pointiest’ of the Mendips. The villages of Banwell and Winscombe provide good local shopping for essentials, as well as a handful of pubs and takeaways. There are countless walks to be enjoyed from the property, as well as road and off-road cycling opportunities locally. The Tullet is suitable for those who will either walk, cycle or drive to wherever they need to go. The village of Banwell is a 15-minute walk away (2 minutes by car), from where buses can be caught to other local destinations.
ABOUT THE OWNER:
Hi. I live at Winthill House with my wife Louise and our three sons Archie, Bertie and Ted. We enjoy outdoor living, and often visit the South West coast of the UK to surf and body board, as well as visiting warmer places such as the Greek islands during the summer months, and the Alps in winter to ski. I have lived at the property for over 20 years and know the neighbourhood well, and am available to help or advise whenever you need. David.
