"We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! "The house was in an amazing location and there were plenty of attractions within a short drive of the house. John was the most helpful host we have ever worked with, he was easily accessible the entire weekend and called to welcome us upon arrival. "We were at Beech Mountain fora weekend wedding & made a short vacation by bringing our 15 yr old dog. We went on long walks and found local restaurants to be very good! We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. We are seniors and managed them fine, Would return in summer or winter .Highly recommend!"

"The little creekside cabin was perfect for a weekend family getaway. It's cozy and had everything we needed. The host is fantastic! The only slight drawback was the proximity to the Beech Mountain Parkway (it backs up to the Parkway), but there was very little traffic and there is a steep incline to help keep kids away from the road. Overall, a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. "

"Overall decent little cabin location mared by storage units in front of the property, never mentioned in the ad. Was a little bit noiseyfrom the business. Overall cleanliness was good, check in and out was quick and easy. A leaf blower would have made his a literal home run but wasn’t horrible. The floors are part of the charm of an old cabin.
