Construction notice: A new home is being built next door to this home. Please note that construction noises may be heard Monday through Saturday 7am-7pm.
Located on the lower level of the building, at the end of the road, you'll find this peaceful retreat. Sixteen steps down lead you to the entrance. The living room features a gas fireplace with a convenient remote on the wall. A large screen TV with cable is available for guest use and a comfortable sleeper sofa. The nearby kitchen has granite counters, a drip coffee maker, and stainless steel appliances. The dining table comfortably sits up to six guests, allowing everyone to eat together. The bar also has three seats, perfect for brunch or a late-night snack.
The primary king bedroom has gorgeous views, and a TV. The private full bathroom is attached and features a jetted tub for soaking, a tiled shower, and double granite vanities. The queen bedroom also has a TV. Just outside in the hallway is a second full bath with a tiled tub/shower combination and granite counters.
The deck is covered and has wide-open, layered mountain views. You'll have spectacular views all times of year!
Located a 5-7 minute walk from Tom Terrific and Boulderdash, two of Sugar Mountain Ski Resorts Black Diamond Runs, and the top of the Northridge, Whataview offers quick access to skiing or biking these mountainsides. The nearby town of Banner Elk is 10-12 minutes away and offers restaurants from casual Bodega's to an elegant night at Stonewalls.
- Although we love pets, unfortunately this home is not pet friendly.
- The Reserve offers curbside parking for up to two cars, max.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
