Thank you for stopping by to consider our sweet little Frolic In The Woods for your next getaway. Hurricane Helene has delt a terrible blow our community. Fortunately Frolic in the Woods is fine. The All Seasons Center housing the pool, hot tub, saunas, and other recreation is temporarily closed. We will update the site as we make progress.

As of 10/3/2024 electricity, cellphone and internet service has been restored! Much of the severe road and bridge damage from Hwy 105 from Boone and Hwy 184 into Banner Elk has been repaired or is nearing completion of restoration.

We are now accepting reservations. Please travel safely as you make your way to the area. Parts of major Interstate Highways such as I-40 and I-26 and other rural roads remain closed or otherwise detoured.

The kitchen is fully equipped including a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and full-size refrigerator, making meal prep a breeze.

The Pinnacle Inn Resort is a full service Resort located centrally on Beech Mountain with twenty-four hour gated security and on-site management. ** This suite is best for 4 adults, or 2 Adults and 2 non-infant children. Note: No A/C is available in the unit or resort. Due to the cooler climate, very few properties contain A/C on the mountain and its usually never needed. The is a portable fan available.
