Welcome to Downing's Creek! Experience the perfect mountain getaway in this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that comfortably sleeps 4. Nestled at an elevation of 5,506 feet atop Beech Mountain, our updated condo offers easy access to a variety of outdoor activities and local attractions.

**Condo Highlights:**
- **Cozy Ambiance:** Unwind in front of the wood-burning fireplace after a day of adventure. **(Don’t forget to bring your own firewood!)**
- **Resort Amenities:** Enjoy access to a resort pool, hot tub, sauna, and more to relax and rejuvenate during your stay.
- **Prime Location:** Located less than a mile from The Overlook Barn, a stunning venue for weddings and events.

**Things to Do in Beech Mountain:**
1. **Skiing and Snowboarding:** In the winter months, hit the slopes at Beech Mountain Ski Resort, the highest ski area in the eastern U.S., offering a range of runs for all skill levels.
2. **Hiking & Biking:** Explore the scenic hiking trails, such as the Emerald Outback, or take advantage of the mountain biking trails for an adrenaline rush during the warmer months.
3. **Scenic Chairlift Rides:** Experience breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains by taking a scenic chairlift ride during the summer months.
4. **Local Wineries & Breweries:** Discover the local flavors by visiting nearby wineries and breweries. Enjoy tastings and tours that showcase the best of the region.

**Important Information:**
- **Vehicle Recommendations:** In case of inclement weather, an all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 vehicle is required. Snow chains may be necessary, so please plan accordingly.
- **Check-In Details:** Check in anytime after 4 PM. We are available to address any issues until 9 PM, so we recommend checking in before that time for a hassle-free arrival.
- **Towels & Amenities:** We provide bath towels, but not pool towels. If you plan to use the resort amenities, please remember to bring your own pool towel.
- **Pool Maintenance:** The pool and all amenities will be closed for annual maintenance during the month of April. VoyagePad does not guarantee the timing of the reopening, as we do not manage these facilities.
- **Returned Items:** A $25 fee plus shipping will apply for any returned items.

Beech condo.
Great place and location. Will stay there again for sure. One suggestion, the entry instructions have a video how to work the lockbox, but you make entry via the door keypad. I would advise renters to use the keypad.

Great location in Beech. Unit is close to the pool and spa. Unit was redone well. Could have been cleaner, floor in living room & around couches hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Popcorn from previous tenant all on living room floor under chairs / couch. Pool / spa room is dated and heavily chlorinated. To be expect for a public space. Would recommend and would return, just not a 5/5 experience. Close though!!

Perfect Location
My family and I went up to Beech for a quick ski trip. It was actually our second time to stay here and it was great yet again. The space is warm and cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The kids love having their own TV in the extra bedroom and enjoyed having the pool just a quick walk away. Would recommend for anyone and would stay a third time!

Perfect place for a weekend get away to the mountains! Be warned the drive up the mountain is steep with switch back roads; easy to navigate but can make some nervous! Property & location.

The place was very clean. Great location. The dead bolt lock was different from the door handle lock and we were locked out at 10 PM for at least 3 hours until the police unlocked the door. No one at the office answered the phone. There should have been an emergency phone number.

Great location
The place was very clean and they have everything you need. You just bring yourself. Paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, shampoo, etc, very convenient and the decor was absolutely amazing.

Not the best experience
The unit simply was not clean. Dirty dishes were in the cabinets and not usable. Numerous lightbulbs were either not working or completely missing. Cable tv in the living room had been unplugged from HDMI ports; took a while to figure this out. Also, the Keurig coffee pot did not work. I would not recommend this unit and I would not stay here again.

We had a great stay and the property is as described. This is a 3rd floor unit - all steps and no elevator. The unit was clean and we will stay here again.

Great place, and responsive host
This condo was perfect for our quick trip to Beech Mountain. Check in was easy, towels, bedding, dishes were all provided and clean. The wood burning fire place and the pool area were great additions as well. The only difficulty was finding the unit because the numbers are not clearly posted and the map was too blurry to be of any use. It was also extremely foggy when we arrived, so that made it even more difficult. Other than that, this place was perfect!

Spectacular Beech Mountain rental!
My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. Inside has been decorated beautifully. It has the perfect cozy cabin like feel. We had needed with the full kitchen, washer and dryer. Only 7 minutes from the slopes of Beech Mountain, made this the perfect location for us! Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect location!
This condo was great for a quick long weekend getaway for me and my family. We were all comfortable and there was plenty of space for the four of us. Our kids (8 & 6) had their own TV and definitely loved the pool. The location was a quick trip to parking for skiing and any of the local shops and restaurants. Would recommend it for anyone looking to explore Beech Mountain. Thanks for a great trip!

Girls' Trip
My best friends and I enjoyed out quick getaway to Banner Elk. After a fun ride on the Alpine Coaster and delicious lunch in town, we headed up the mountain to our lodging. The condo was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed beautiful mountain views and a visit from 3 deer on the property. We made a fire in the fireplace and decided it was so cozy we stayed in instead of going out for dinner. Great memories were made!
