"Fantastic location over the Marina - beautiful scenery . However - the lift was broken and so we had to go through the fire exit stairs . There wasn’t signage to show which door to go in or out of . Very confusing and lots of walking up and down . Unfortunate I know but spoilt it a bit . Also in our room - the bedroom blind was broken so you couldn’t close it properly and there was an outside light on all night ( obviously for security) but we were kept awake with the light most of the night...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Canal Home. Everything we needed was provided for. It was exceptionally clean and orderly. The location, surrounds and views were beautiful. The only disappointment was bringing your own sheets and towels. I can understand why this would be a requirement in regard to washing, workload and costs etc etc, but with the price we paid I thought it could have been included. $275 per night plus 150 cleaning fee. "

"Spacious home suitable for 2 families. Fantastic views and use of private mooring. We had a wonderful stay and utilised the boat ramp at the end of the street to use our dighy. Our children loved fishing off the jetty and paddling kayaks. House has had new carpets and flooring laid which make it look fresh. Would absolutey say again!"

"The location of this older style beach home is fantastic and it’s just a short walk to a variety of restaurants and cafes. Everything that you need is supplied , comfy bed, neat clean and tidy. Shona was very helpful with the booking and check in and this was very much appreciated. The only thing that spoilt it was the group of homeless people who moved onto the vacant block next door two nights prior to our departure. "We loved staying at The Hide. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed plus lots of nice little touches. The porch area and firepit area are great areas to relax in and take in the quiet, natural surrounds. And our dog loved it too! Definitely recommend it. "
