"This was such a great little gem! Walking distance to some great food finds, but far enough it is quiet and seems remote! Definitely recommend!"

The kitchen was well appointed, beds clean and the game room, pool, extensive outdoor space and beautiful surroundings made this a truly memorable stay! The location is very convenient to Portland. "The property was an overgrown garden oasis with an abundance of fragrant flowers competing with one another for best in show. The basement apartment was well apportioned with comfy aesthetically pleasing furniture. There was just enough kitch to make it feel like a home. Downsides: chicken coup is close to the door, so you get a pretty good whif as you arrive, it’s only as you walk past one spot that smells. "We had a fabulous stay! The house is beautiful and in a really fun location. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and there's a grocery store just 3 blocks away. It was really hot the week we were there. I'm happy to report that the A/C worked great and kept the house cool.Tam was a wonderful host. Super responsive and had fun suggestions for things to do in the area. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Portland."

"Cute and quiet spot in North Portland. Check in was easy and it was a great place to rest our heads after a long day. There was plenty of parking on the side streets, and more than enough room to accommodate our vehicle and cargo trailer. We appreciated the popcorn for a midnight snack! "

"We (family of 4) stayed here for the last few days of a 2 week road trip from LA to Portland. The house was a great end to our vacation. Beautiful original woodwork, large rooms, high ceilings, updated appliances - everything you’d want to stay in comfort, for the price of a hotel room. Location was great and the garage parking lot as most welcomed. "

"This is a great place to stay while visiting Portland . The space is clean and has everything we needed . We did have a problem with getting the shower to work but it was clarified by the owner immediately . Communication was awesome quick response . I would recommend this space when visiting "

"The property is very homey, Tanya was wonderful and welcomed us with cookies and everything anyone could need, we didnt have to buy shampoos blankets towels or even sodas. She was extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with. I love the growing raspberries and blueberries, they were delicious. It was a great touch to an already beautiful and comfortable place. I look forward to staying here afain when family visits happen."

"Perfect place for a couple visiting Goose Hollow. Walking distance to Washington Park and the Rose Garden as well as great restaurants and breakfast spots. Miyoko was an excellent host; she was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The back patio was nice for a glass of wine in the evening. On street parking was not an issue (just be sure to ask Miyoko to obtain a permit). "
