"I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. It may not good for elderly people or people...

"This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. There was a nice breeze off the lake while we were there so we had the windows open and were quite comfortable. The cabin is right next to the boat launch so every now and then there’s the typical boat traffic going in/out of the lake but it didn’t intrude...

"My friends and I had a lovely stay! The house was great, and the pool and amenities were top-notch. Keith, the owner, was a little difficult to get in contact with, but his son was around the property and was able to help. Overall, we had an amazing weekend. "Adorable, clean home close to many beaches! This was made for a great Lake Michigan beach vacation. The home was well stocked with everything you need and was very clean. It was well decorated and looked just like the photos. The only thing missing that was indicated in the listing details was the bbq grill, but we made do and cooked inside, no big deal. We loved our stay here and the hosts were great to work with. Highly recommended! "

"The Orchard House was perfect for our family vacation, with plenty of room for our adult kids and grandkids. Everything was comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time with the kids in the front yard and on the porch. The house was close to the beach, shopping and lots of great places to eat. Our host Dana was so helpful and responsive! We highly recommend!"

"This house is everything you see in the pictures and much more. The indoor pool is fantastic, especially if you have kids with you. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the large dining room table. The location is perfect as it's a quick drive to South Haven and Saugatuck. The hidden gem is the Glenn Convenience Store for any last minute needs you have. They also have good pizza and sandwiches. We would definitely stay here again."
