This secluded home is located in a quiet gated neighborhood, approximately 10 miles north of Old Town Bandon. You'll be two miles north of Seven Devils State Recreation Site and Merchants Beach, six miles north of the renowned Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, and eight miles north of Bullard's Beach State Park.

Golf trip to Bandon
We were 3 couples who have travelled around the world on golf trips every year fro the last 5 years. The home seemed perfect for our needs. The views were spectacular, and it was a delight to look out in the morning over breakfast. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms which were well separated and so private, and the golf resort was just 15 minutes away. The downside was that most of us got no cell service at all and the wifi was weak, so those that had some business to do, had to drive into town for phone or zoom meetings. Also several things were "out of order", like the fireplace and the balcony access from one of the bedrooms. The fireplace was an advertised amenity, so that was disappointing, especially on one cold rainy day. Also, normal things you'd have in a kitchen, like foil or food wrap, were not provided. Nonetheless it was a beautiful spot and it suited our needs.

Amazing view from the house. Its in a gated community so it's quiet. No cell service, which added to the peacefulness of the time.

Escaped the Texas heat in Oregon. Very nice home with good views of beach. Home is very comfortable and accentuates the view as well as the privacy of the area.

We never got there - medical emergency
I called several people at VCASA and repeatedly told them that our family was not able to come to the rental due to a medical emergency prior to our checkin date. Too many reps kept contacting me and no one seemed to communicate with each other that the house would be empty.

Property needs some much needed attention at this price
Overall a goof time, but the house could use some updating and better cleaning overall. It practicly looks abandoned on the outside and the inside it is clear that cleaners only clean the major areas and arnt thorough at all. Hard to find all the kitchen items so i took some searching to find things. The ice maker was full of scum and so was the coffee makerm they both had to be cleaned by us before use. Also listing a 8 person home and only having a love seat for seating in the family room was a let down.

Great place to relax!
We had big plans for adventure but after checking in, listening to the waves, and a beach walk, we ended up staying in, playing board games and drinking wine on the beach. The views and the beach are incredible! So much space and great views from almost every room. The bed was comfortable. A wonderful place to kick your feet up and watch the waves! 15 minutes from downtown Bandon and the golf course.

The only positive was the view. The carpet and furniture were stained and very used. Kitchen cabinets were all dirty inside and out. No hot water in the downstairs bathroom. Missing shades in one bedroom.

Lovely home
So we loved the home. Some of our family found their room wasn't clean. Ours was and so was our bathroom. There were so many flies, though, that it was very annoying. Also one of our family members broke a lamp, so we need to pay for that. The only other problem was getting there after dark. We had no idea where we were going or how far off the beaten track it was. I think that could have been explained a little better. But we all did have a great time!

Amazing Views
Getting to this property is a little tough and there is absolutely no cell service in the area so make sure your information to get in is saved i. Yours phone. We had to head back to service in order to retrieve the information from our phone and then get back to the property. Once you get there you have to log into the wifi, But making phone calls from a cell phone was still not possible unless you used a wifi app like messanger or Snap Chat. Thank goodness the home has a house phone. The home is beautiful and has plenty of space for a couple families to spend the weekend happily. The grounds did need some maintenance, the lawn in the back and side of the house could have been mowed and cleaned up a bit. The furniture and style is a little old and outdated. There were plenty of kitchen items to prepare some good home cooked meals while at the house. The most amazing part of the location has to be the sound of the ocean to go to sleep to. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper and hand soaps.

House is perfectly fine, the kitchen is outfitted with adequate pots, pans, etc. They're all old, most likely purchased at the local 2nd hand store but they work. There was an issue at one time with the gas fireplace sooting up the house, may have happened recently since it hasn't been coompletely addressed, we thought the black hue on the ceiling and walls was mold at first but after further inspection realized it's soot. Interior needs to be repainted to correct the issue. Price is in line with location an size. Location is very private including the beach. Overall had a great time, hope they address a couple issues, would like to rent again in the future.

Perfect remote holiday get away
We like that it was so remote. But with Remote comes pour to no cell service. That was a bit frustrating for some of our guests. Having two set of living rooms on different floors made it great for people to have different activities going at the same time. We loved the kitchen layout. Overall a great time had by all. Thanks.

Very good option for golfers
Great view towards the water & very quiet. Finishes & furnishings were a tad beat up but no real complaints from 4 guys in the area to play Bandon Dunes.

Could be a great place if…
Could be a great place if only it had a deep cleaning, repairs done and had a level road to get to. Size and space were ideal for 4 senior couples. A bit isolated, but we didn’t mind that at all as it was very quiet. The beach was not right out the back door, but we knew that in advance. A walk af about a 1/2 mile down the road. The road up needs leveling as it is quite rutted. The top oven needs to be fixed, rug needs to be replaced as it is very stained, picture windows that could have a great view are fogged and need replaced, outside needs repairs and pressure washed. We understand that this is a beach house, but it is not in good condition. Would we stay here again? Probably not as the price is too high for something that is not cared for. The uncleared comment about the house is not a reflection of the housekeeper, but a reflection of the lack of care by the owners.

Beautiful Ocean View
We truly enjoyed our stay. Lots of space. Beautiful view of the ocean. Private beach. Only concern was that there were a few things that really needed to be fixed/repaired. Ice maker did not work. Kitchen faucet leaked and the area around the sink was cracked. I am sure there is water damage that needs to be addressed. Dishes/pots were put away dirty. Such a beautiful home, sad to see that it is not being kept up as it should. Still would consider staying again.

Great house
The house was exactly what we wanted and needed. Had plenty of towels and blankets to be comfortable. Only thing I didn’t like was all the mud out front. It was really difficult to keep anything clean with so much mud. But other than that we loved it

Very neglected home
While the setting is very nice, the home in general is in poor condition- a comment that was made in several previous reviews. This lead me to email the support team and I was assured that all comments had been addressed and issues resolved. To demonstrate how inaccurate that response was we were informed on the day of our arrival there was no propane for the fireplace or cook top in the kitchen. Then on the morning of Day 2 the hot water heater went out and we were told could not be repaired. Overall a disappointing experience.

Veteran’s Week w/Family
Gorgeous home that was very spacious for 7 adults & 1 toddler! We enjoyed crafting in the Crow’s Nest upstairs, although it could use an overhead light up there. Rooms were nice & big with lots of closet space. Unfortunately only the master bedroom had a dresser, none of the downstair bedrooms had one which made it challenging for a week stay of luggage. The large living room downstairs was perfect for the adult children to have their own space. The view was spectacular & the large window seat was a popular relaxing spot! Some of the windows need some TLC. The master bath shower head sucked...needs a larger head that’s more practical. The kitchen was well-stocked and very spacious. Very long dining table & extra card table with folding chairs. All-in-all impressed with the property! I will say though....the communication with Vacasa wasn’t great! I received one email response & 1 call return, but after that, no responses & the property binder of information had repetitive flyers and incomplete....that was frustrating. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
