"Excellent hotel"

"My wife and I had a very positive stay at the BW Inn at Face Rock recently, celebrating our anniversary. From the check in process to the incredible cleanliness of the hotel grounds / hotel room, we were very impressed during our stay. The service response was exceptional! We had a noise issue with our heater in the hotel room. The next day the hotel front desk sent a tech repairman -Houston- and he fixed the problem without further noise or incident. "We enjoyed our stay! It was clean, slightly outdated but comfortable. The kitchen floor is interesting but the kitchen itself is very functional with plenty of space. My only complaint is that we were not provided a code to get in prior to our arrival. We had to call and were helped right away but the door was very hard to open and lock. The lock just spins so it was a little frustrating. Other than that, the view and access to the beach is of the best from the several we’ve stayed at on beach...

"I am not going to go into all details but will say that this overpriced facility ($100 + per night) WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ICE OUT OF THEIR MACHINE. Never, ever have I been subjected to such a stupid a-- charge in all my travels. The facility is fair, not good, and I will not lodge there again."

"Lovely home in excellent location"

"Really appreciated all of the windows, especially those facing the ocean. Kitchen was stocked with all of our needed utensils. The gas fireplace in the living room added a nice rustic feeling. The interior spaces were nicely decorated. The only disappointment was that the beach access up the road at Sunset Motel was closed making it difficult to reach my favorite rock formations. "
