"We had a reunion of 7 couples that worked together in the UK at Killaghy Castle. It is a true castle and is steeped in history. The property is very comfortable with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. "As we arrived we had a warm welcome greeting. After a brief tour of the cabin, we immediately felt at home. The cabin is warm, confortable, cozy and deceptively spacious. The view over the mountains, the quietness (even though there was a storm outside), and the warm environment make it easy to disconnect and just be. "The property is in a stunning location overlooking the mountains, a short drive to the pretty village of Kilmacthomas. There were ten adults in our party, for a family reunion. Games room well stocked, plenty of room and space for everyone. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, the host, Helen, was very communicative and we have no complaints in any respect,. "If you want peace and quiet, off the beaten path, away from tourists, Mrs. Delaney‘s loft is the place for you! We really enjoyed our stay. There was one hiccup with another gentleman booked for the same room, but they were quick to rectify the situation, and all parties were taken care of. We will be back!"

"The property is as described and has everything to keep a broad range of guests happy and satisfied. Barbara is the owner/host. She is the most gracious, charming, funniest, kindest, most helpful and accommodating host we’ve ever dealt with in over 20 years of this type traveling. This woman could/should give lessons on how to run a hospitality business. This is an amazing part of Ireland and this is a good, central base to explore from."

"We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful."
