Dun Mhorain holiday home is THE place to stay while exploring the Dingle Peninsula. Proudly overlooking the Atlantic Sea, this 5 bedroom (all with private ensuite bathrooms) offers breathtaking views from every room. Experience the Dingle peninsula like a true local in the village of Ballydavid located just 7 scenic miles from Dingle town center. If you miss Ballydavid- its views, pubs and people, youā€™ve missed the peninsula!

Walk the dramatic coastline from your own back door (expect to see NO ONE except a few startled sheep), relax on our stone picnic table and watch the sunset, play pool upstairs with the large windows that open to the countryside, or start a fire in the living room. Enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Smerwick Bay, the Three Sisters, and Mount Brandon all from the living room.

An Bothar Pub is the nearest pub at about a 6 minute drive. The house is also close to Ballyferriter with local pubs and restaurants at a 15 minute drive.

Several lovely towns with restaurants and pubs that dot the coastline are only a short distance away. With over 30 years of traveling to the peninsula, let us help you plan your perfect vacation.

2nd Bedroom with private bathroom sea views and option of two twin beds or full
3rd Bedroom with private bathroom mountain views
There is also a small office space with desk for privacy should you need to use for work related activities or calls.
Second Floor
Room with pool table, & three velux balcony windows open to the sea, two spacious bedrooms each with their own bathrooms and views to the sea. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a queen bed with two twins. All bedrooms fitted with fresh linens.

Please note that we have security camera at the front and rear of home.

It is a lovely property- rain or shine. Having our family with 5 en-suite bedrooms made everything so convenient. We enjoyed the pool table, the large kitchen and played games in the living room. There are great walks from the house without getting into the car. The village of Dingle is 15 minute drive with great restaurants and pubs. There are beautiful views from every room.

Ireland at its best

The home is situated with an amazing easterly view of a small bay and iconic Irish walled farm fields. Located on a short lane below a rolling mountain. Close enough to town for whatever is needed yet still provides quiet country livingā€¦..well appointed, clean and comfortable. We would go back again.

What a lovely home in a beautiful setting! We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and cozy. We cooked every night and appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. The fireplace kept us warm on a blustery November night. Plenty of room for our family of five. We loved it!

Great family property near Dingle town

6 family members stayed at this lovely well-equipped house on the Dingle peninsula. The house is situated on a picturesque cove and is about 9 KM north of Dingle town. The home was as advertised and the owner prepared an excellent document (best I've seen) of things to do and places to see while in this extremely beuatiful part of the world. No complaints and we plan to return.

Very nice stay

House was well cared for. Nice large kitchen and fully stocked with cooking essentials. Beautiful view from the house. A bit disappointed that the nearest pub was not open. we didnā€™t know that until we got there. It wouldā€™ve been really convenient if it was, but thatā€™s no fault of the owner, be aware thereā€™s nothing in the area. There is another pub nearby but not as close to the house which is very good and very good food. thereā€™s no markets you have to go to Ballyferriter which is a little ways away in order to get any type of groceries. The house was clean, which is most important to me. It took us a little bit to figure out the pool table, which looks like you have to pay in order to use it, but you just push the coin slots in the balls for the pool table come out, but that wasnā€™t told to us by the owner, so that was Something we just figured out on our own and we wished we couldā€™ve worked the fireplace. There was no instructions on that. We could not find the damper the weather during the time we were there was horrible and rained every day so it wouldā€™ve been nice to have a nice fire going at night a very nice stay.

We loved our time at the home. Spectacular views. Hard to beat. A little hiccup trying to get ahold of the property manager, but VRBO came to the rescue and we got stuff sorted out relatively quickly. Great spot. Thank you!!

Awesome location

Our family really enjoyed this property. Nothing compares to the view. Ocean and mountains. Plenty of space for entire family. I would suggest going to Garvey's SuperValue for any groceries you need. We took the train to Cork. We did the Slea Head Wave, this is a must. Some went on a boat for fishing. Caught great fish. Went to Killarney and did the National Park and went into Dingle for Pub Crawls,Aquariim and shopping. I wish we had more time in Killarney & touring the town of Dingle. I would recommend spending more than a week. Love the southwest of Ireland. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay on the Dingle Peninsula. Nula is a kind host and communication from her was top notch. Views are incredible right from the home -- just as shown in the photos. House is fully stocked with LARGE appliances which is a rare find. .PDF guide to the area was also very helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

We loved the locationā€¦walking trail was spectacularā€¦with miles of coastline, we had no other encounters of people, but met some very nice sheepā€¦it was like a personal walking trail of spectacular viewsā€¦House was nice with plenty of space for large groupsā€¦really enjoyed our stayā€¦only comment, rent a GPS, we did not have one and had difficulty finding it, but after that was pretty much perfectā€¦thank you
