"The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. Thanks!"

"Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!"

"Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two...

"Está rodeado de una granja como explica, puedes ver caballos, ponies, vacas, ocas y patos… Al ser una casa prefabricada se oía perfectamente la lluvia y por la noche fue un poco molesto. Bien para pasar una noche, creo que más se queda pequeño."

"Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."

"We selected The Coachman's Cottage as our home away from home while we explored the attractions of County Antrim and we were not disappointed. The property is well located for visits to the usual attractions like the Causeway and Bushmills. It is also handy to the walking trails of the Glens of Antrim and especially The Dark Hedges! Everything was as promised in the detailed listing and accompanying photographs. We felt right at home during our stay. Thank you Eileen."

There were two things that brought the rating down from 'excellent' to 'good' -- one of the beds was on its last legs and there was no shower. The bed was very squeaky, and upon inspection we found that the frame was split in several places. The lack of a shower was an issue mainly because we would have planned things differently if we had known that there...
