"This little apartment was wonderful - cozy, clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need and spacious enough to really spread out. By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. "Other reviews are perfect examples of this place. Was so nice, so clean and comfortable for our young kids and grandparents. Layout of the house is great. And they have the best toys for children. "Lovely house on a beautiful lake! The swans on the lake made it super picturesque. The house is a bargain for the number of rooms, bathrooms and living space. Short walk to wonderful dining spot The Half Barrel. Be aware u are in rural Ireland so Galway. Dublin or Limerick are over an hour drive away on what can be teeth clenching roads. Rita the owner is easy to message and responds quickly. "

"The Dairy cottage was a perfect location for us, a 1.5 hr drive to all the destinations we wanted to see while there in Ireland! The hosts were very kind and willing to go the extra mile. We suggest going into town to the local pub for a pint…. Owner very nice and welcoming!"

"Just Beautiful!! Inside and out! I loved staying there. Watching the cows being moved from one pasture to another. I hosted a Birthday. lunch for a few of my cousins . So much room. It was fabulous. "Super, friendly host Joe met us and gave us an insight into the local area and lots of information. There was just the two of us but the property could easily accommodate seven people. All the facilities that we required, a true home from home. Perfect location for our days out both locally and as far as Waterford, Dublin, Galway and Westport. Thanks again Joe."

"I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. "We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million."

"We had an amazing time at the cottage. Located close to Leap Castle and Birr Castle so there is tons to do. The drives to either are about 4-10 min. The welcome party are 3 sweet dogs who my nephew got to explore with. He was excited to be sharing a wall with a working cattle farm and seeing the cows. The house was clean and new. Off the main road and tucked away so you enjoy the quiet and ✨ stars . Will definitely be calling again in a few years for next trip!!!!"

"Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area.
