"Love Aviemore so booked the Spey valley lodges. The lodges are starting to look quite run down, especially the outside with peeling paint. The inside is a little dated but was clean enough. One of the single beds had no bottom sheet on it and a dead spider lying between blanket.Obviously this bed was not made up fresh. Check in is 5pm and checkout was 10am I find this utterly ridiculous. I did enjoy the onsite restaurant and bar. Staff were nice. I would come again but not at the prices they...

"The peace & quiet here was amazing! Other guests were respectful & the only noise in the morning was the ducks looking for food. Our lodge was dated but comfortable. There were a few minor issues but nothing that affected our stay. So in summary the accommodation is not luxurious but the location & setting are wonderful if it’s a quiet break you are looking for. "We enjoyed very much our stay at Sneuk Head. The cottage was clean (not spotless 😊, but clean), well equiped, and close to luxury as we were 3 so we had each a bathroom, though "only" 2 showers! On top of this, there are plenty of activities to do nearby, and the house is close to the A9 if you want to go further. The host was very responsive to the various questions we had and always very kind. All in all, we'd be very glad to come back there if we have another opportunity."

"This is a nice, spacious property in a good location in Aviemore and we had a very comfortable stay. The only problem we had was that the property wasn't cleaned for us on arrival and still had dirty bed linen etc from the previous guests. There seemed to have been a miscommunication with the cleaners but after calling Gary, he managed to get it resolved for us asap, which was much appreciated."

They were treating us rudely all over our stay, since check-in, when they refused to provide 2 keys for the room, even we were 4 people in the room! Sounded like all employees were in a hurry to finish their jobs instead of creating a good experience for customers. Rooms need serious renovation, the carpet is covered by dust when you look under tables and behind the beds."
