"I stayed at the Pineola for 4 nights for work. It was very clean and comfortable. The property was pretty and I would love to try one of the cabins sometime. It was convenient to not have to check in, since the property just provides an access code to get into your room, but I sometimes had trouble getting the door to lock appropriately. I didn't see or interact with any staff, but found the room to be clean every time I returned in the evening and when I let them know about my trouble...

"This property is great for peace and quiet. The damage in the area from hurricane Helene has shut down a lot of trails, waterfalls, and parks. However, it is still very beautiful and we will continue to travel to the area and hopefully stay at this retreat again. Right now it's smart to bring your own food, there aren't very many places to go out to eat unless you prefer fast food. The main highway also has a beautiful gift shop. "Red Roof was a decent stay for the price and location. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. House keeping staff was always available in the day time hours. The bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. Target is a 2 minute walk away. The only downsides were flat/ soft pillows, the door was beat up and dented, and the parking lot in front of the hotel had garbage and furniture sitting out. "
