"A great vacation despite the cool weather in June. We looked forward to this beautiful house after hiking or riding our motorcycles. Fantastic beds, much better than in most of the hotels I have stayed. We will definetly come back."

"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."

"Overall we had a good experience and were thankful for all the little extras like firewood, oil and vinegar, foil and film wrap, salt and pepper, tea bags and sugar. We loved the mattress in the cottage and the Internet was working great despite the really bad storm we had this week. However a few improvements are needed for us to come back: the toilet seat is wobbly. The faucets in the bathroom are not making it easy to rince your mouth after you brush your teeth. "The location is wonderful, but that’s all the property has going for it. I have never stayed in such a dirty house. I had to clean the downstairs windows, so we could see the view. Mould in both bathrooms. Hairs on bathroom walls and dirt. The kitchen is filthy. Front garden fill with weeds. The whole house was dirty. Not a clean picture or mirror in the whole house. Avoid at all costs. One of beds smelled of sweat. I really don’t know how the owner gets away renting it out. I did speak to owner...

"Ons verblijf was super. Verblijf is prachtig gelegen aan het water. Hebben verschillende uitstapjes/wandelingen gemaakt in de nabije omgeving (Poolewe en Grailoch). In het kleine verblijf was alles aanwezig van afwasmachine tot wasmachine, kookgerei etc. Teleurstellend was de communicatie, die was er helemaal niet. We hebben een paar dagen van te voren via de site aangegeven wanneer onze aankomst zou zijn. Helaas is daar geen antwoord op gekomen. Ook gebeld maar kregen een ingesproken bericht....
