"March 2024 The Hotel Grand Khalifa exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, airy and very spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. Nice hot shower after our long drive from Udaipur! "The property seems very old and need some serious maintenance. The room that we got was having very dim lights, Tv was not working, exhaust fan was not working, no mirror outside the bathroom. Only good thing about the place was that it has good connectivity and was very clean. They followed all covid protocols. Everyone there was fully vaccinated. Food was below average as compared to other places around the area. Hence I would give it 3 star."

"The staff was so professional! The food was amazing! The swimming pool was so delightful in the evening as the sun set on Fort Jaisalmer. The proprietor has built this beautiful property with his father, the Mayor; it is so beautiful! Close walking distance to the Fort. "This place should not be used as a hotel also considering the price it’s not worth it. The lobby and common areas smell of urine. The doors to the rooms are light which means it’s very noisy in the rooms until late night. "I booked the tent rooms provided by Hotel for my family trip. Tent size is decent for a couple. There is not enough walking space and if baggage not kept properly can make look room clumsy. Tent room is not suitable for kids. Also, tents were not cleaned properly. However, Hotel itself was maintained. Pool seems good. We booked it with dinner and breakfast options and both were delicious. Staff was friendly. Overall good stay."

"The palace itself is stunning. However, service is poor. Breakfast ends at 9:30. We had to rush for the breakfast. Breakfast was really bad. Burnt, dried and stale. No tissue paper, no hair dryer, no iron. I have never seen a toilet paper role that thin. Hot water takes forever to mix. Most of the time, internet doesn’t work."
