"Lovely old home that has been nicely renovated. Beautiful kitchen and dining room with plenty of seating for everyone in both areas. Nice living room with huge TV. Beds are comfy, upstairs bathroom has a spa feel to it. We had perfect weather so that we very much enjoyed the deck. Will definitely stay here again to visit my family that lives in the area."

"This is our third stay at Thorne Haven and while I didn't think it possible, it was even better than before. I have shared this listing with a number of my work colleagues and they all exclaimed over the gorgeous dining room, the huge kitchen, the insane number of books, games, and movies, and that incredible master suite. "We had a great time staying at the Peaceful Mountain Getaway. The bedrooms were all a nice size and had a very trendy vibe to them, one even had a crib which was perfect for us. The older kids enjoyed the extra tv and hangout space upstairs in the loft while the little kids enjoyed the basket of toys. Plenty of towels, cups, plates, utensils and soap were available. The table out back is not in the best shape and the dryer does not shut off on its own so you can only do laundry when you are...

"Everything about this place was wonderful. Exactly as advertised. We had a small issue with the toilet but they offered to send someone out within a few hours. We opted not to accept the offer as we were leaving the next day. The view of the lake is amazing. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck."
