The Space:
Shiraz Tiny House by Tiny Away is a cozy getaway at Avoca caravan park and alongside a golf course, just a 52-minute drive from the city of Ballarat. This rustic retreat is conveniently located close to the city's attractions. Explore the beautiful Ballarat Botanical Gardens, learn about history at the Eureka Centre, and wander through the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens.
What's more, wine enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Seppelt Cellar Door, while nature lovers can enjoy Lake Wendouree. It offers a perfect blend of comfort and the excitement of exploration.
A cozy 139-square feet tiny home with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be advised there will be another tiny house called "Nebbiolo Tiny House" that sits on the same property. If you want to book in groups. please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house, all caravan park areas, and the surrounding areas.
For guest's privacy, the tiny home is 100 meters away from the main house and approx 10 meters away from the second tiny house (Nebbiolo Tiny House, darker tiny house).

Guests are to explore the gentle rhythms of rural life, from dawn-lit vineyard walks to evenings under a canopy of stars. All while savouring the world-class wines that define this enchanting corner of Victoria.

- Ballarat Botanical Gardens is one of Australia's foremost cool climate gardens, boasting an impressive array of mature trees and marble statues amidst vibrant flower beds.
- The Eureka Centre Ballarat resides within the National Heritage-listed Eureka Stockade Memorial Park. This place houses one of Australia's most compelling historical artifacts and textile treasures: the iconic Eureka Flag.
- Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens is situated atop an extinct volcano. It's an ideal location for picnicking. Ascend the Pioneers Lookout Tower for uninterrupted views of Daylesford town and its surroundings.

Getting Around:
By car:
- A 2-hour drive from Melbourne, Avoca can be conveniently reached by car
- Both 2WD and 4WD vehicles can easily access the property.
By public transport:
- Take the train to Maryborough Train Station and then a cab directly to Avoca.
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is available
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking inside the tiny home, except in certain areas on the property
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra; Optus has weak signals; The rest have no signal
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Tiny homes will be located on caravan park grounds with park rules applicable
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
