"The hostel is good. The rooms are equipped with the essentials and are mostly clean. The common areas could have been cleaner though. The kitchen is not so well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helped immediately with any problems. I would recommend the hostel for a short stay."
"It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords."
"The room is spacious for 4 persons with fully equipped kitchenwares. It’s included breakfast too. The location is quite convenient to everything in the city and if you plan to visit where the puffins live, it just drive not more than 10 mins. The staff is so nice, friendly and very helpful since I told her that I’ll arrive the resort by 10 PM at first but the weather was quite bad that day and we drove from very long distance so I ended up arrive later than that. "We had a great stay at the property. It’s conveniently located on our way to Hofn. Check in was seamless. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. There’s a small kitchen area to cook for dinner and breakfast. "

The jacuzzi and sauna are a good addition. It has a cost but worth it after long hours of driving.
I would recommend the place. Basic room, no tea or coffee in the room which would have been nice. There is a kettle though. Just plan ahead. Overall a good experience."
