"Great experience. It was cozy environment. The only downside is there was some remienence of trash in the trashcan itself. Also, the toilet had very low water pressure and would not go down when being flushed (don't know if it was clogged beforehand or what, but we didn't do it). Other than that i would stay again. "

"Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 "

"This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. "

"Was an amazing location on the coast "

"Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Was pleasantly surprised. Host Mike was awesome. Very attentive and responded quickly to our emails. This property was well equipped. We needed nothing. Location on phillips lake was a plus. It is only a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park.. we are hoping to come back in the summer"

" Did not communicate with homeowners. Based rating on others. Home as stated in listing. Listing does not justify the property. The lake just outside your door, with a million dollar view. Its what most would like to see every morning with their coffee! Found it easily and will recommend to anyone that wants a little piece of Maine's paradise. "

"10/10 Understand that this is a quintessential rustic cabin in Northern Maine. If you understand that: you will thoroughly enjoy this cabin. A slice of Maine cultural history. "Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."
