We rented this place twice and would be back again.
The first time we rented, a few years ago, the house was a new build - we fell in love with the location and the house and didn’t fuss too much about the lack of equipment given that we assumed the owners were new to renting their brand new home.
A few years later, the place had the same effect on us but they didn’t address the lack of equipment. No excuses and certainly not acceptable for the price.
When you pay over 4,000$ for 1 week, you expect a flawless experience and definitely not have to spend an additional 500$ in equipment for that week.
Prepare yourselves to bring or purchase your own equipment: (TV, Microwave, Wine glasses, Wine bottle opener; Kitchen scissors; Kitchen knifes (big and small + bread knife); Peeler; Lemon/citrus squeezer; Garlic press;Measuring spoons, pizza pan (assume that everything you might need to cook is not there)
We bought everything but only left our oyster and kitchen knifes behind for you to enjoy.
I can attest that the internet is very slow making it difficult for 2 ppl teleworking at same time. (We rented the house next door a couple years ago and there’s was much faster).
Last but not least, the actual building seem to have shifted a bit since construction (doors don’t close properly, cracks in ceiling, water damage beside the bath/toilet, the floor tiles in living area are lifting, etc.
All in all, still worth it but bring your own stuff!
