"Good location outside of town. Parking in gravel lot down the street not bad. Short walk and a bit dangerous for unloading luggage in front of hotel in traffic. Owner very nice and very helpful with suggestions of what to do. Other staff helpful in suggesting restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Beach is rocky, but water refreshing. Bed linens could use updating and futon in our room needed to be replaced, but overall a descent place to stay for the price."

"Overall it was great value for money and beautiful views from the balcony. Staff were welcoming. The room had good interior decor however we felt there needed to be further renovations to the hotel. It was quite noisy in the room from the main road traffic. The pool side area was very nice with great views. The beach was a bit unclean with cigarette ends etc but cannot always be helped I know. The breakfast was ok but the cooked produce could be improved as appeared dried out and unappetising....

"The Hotel was very nice and conveniently located a little bit outside the centre, but still walking distance. There is a decent size pool and a small beach just opposite. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend the hotel."

"A estadia foi maravilhosa. Chegamos e deram-nos a informação que tivemos um upgrade no quarto (sem fazer qualquer diferença no valor final) e que quarto fantástico, limpo, organizado, bem decorado e espaçoso. O pequeno almoço foi bom, no rooftop. O atendimento foi espetacular!!! "

"The Casa dei Delfini is a credit to the owners, who have restored their two buildings with care and sensitivity for their historical roots. They have brought light into the buildings, while preserving their authenticity. Our hosts made the first contact with us, and responded to our messages quickly. Konstantinos was kind and informative, and his mother was fantastic in her enthusiasm for the restoration and care of the buildings. We had the generous and tasty breakfast one day and recommend it....

"Tres charmant hôtel bien situé au cœur de la ville. Notre chambre n’était pas très propre (cheveux dans la salle de bain, mégots de cigarettes dans un cendrier sur la terrasse) et le ménage n’a pas été fait correctement (tasse sale laissée sur le comptoir et dosettes de café non remplacées). Accueil très chaleureux et le petit déjeuner est satisfaisant."

"Located in the old town in Rethymno . The buffet breakfast was very good- several selections. Staff very friendly, helpful. The Sommelier went out of her way to help us find a good restaurant nearby as Hotel restaurant was not open yet. Lovely building with lots of character. Shelagh and Clark Russell Canada"

"This property is truly beautiful for and old town. Recently renovated and very nice. The owner was an absolute gem. So sweet, kind and welcoming. The added breakfast was so yummy and so cheap. The location made the challenging walk with luggage from the parking lot a couple blocks away worth it! The bed was comfortable and the space was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. "

"I stayed here in Sept/24. Obviously, I enjoyed it enough to give it another try. I am an adamant non-smoker. On my last stay I brought it up. Reception tried to rid the room of smoke but it really didn't help as it was thick as soup. I mentioned upon reserving I really didn't want to go through that again. I also mentioned I would like to get some breakfast before it was actually served (8 to 10AM). I missed out on my last stay. I am happy to say both small issues from last time were no...
