"Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel."

"A pousada esta em obras, ou seja, suja de poeira, o ambiente do café com chão de cimento, o que dá um aspecto ruim. O café da manhã é bem pobre de variedades, na verdade não existe. Quando chegamos cansados de uma viagem longa, a única coisa que eles queriam, era nos empurrar pacotes de passeios. São pessoas rudes, as vezes até grosseiras. Eu volto as Maldivas, mas nesse estabelecimento, nunca mais!"

"This is a perfect getaway. The property is as good as a 5*. You won’t miss the facilities, cleanliness and services. The staff is helpful and friendly. The views are spectacular. One thing I’d like to highlight is the quality of food. The chef is so amazing that you’ll not feel it’s less than a 5* meal. Articulate presentation, and every dish was tastier than you could anticipate. "

"The kindness of staff is as unlimited as coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. The guy from reception helped us with luggage on the way to the hotel and also back. They provided snorkel equipment for free. Breakfast is very tasty, espiecialy maledivian one. Room is clean and spacious enough, one disadvantage is that we didn't have window and maybe that's why you can feel excess humidity. "

"10/10 . The most nicer guest house I have ever visited. Staff are very friendly, the receptionist are always there and they go beyond and above their duties. The Hotel rooms are clean, basic but the environment is so pleasant the garden is very relaxing with a beautiful vibes I would recommande their trip packages the trip crew are fantastic, very very friendly. "The property itself is falsely advertised on Expedia. I booked a 4 bedroom accommodation but on arrival only 1 bedroom had been booked by Expedia. They made no attempt to remedy the situation despite being made aware of the problem since day one. They kept passing the buck to their affiliate company Vrbo who also failed to correct my accommodation issue. I had booked a two week stay and the accommodation issue remained for the entire two weeks with no follow- up from either of the two companies...
