Check in was a breeze. My room was on the 16th floor and many parts of the hallway were in the process of being repaired. The vending and ice machines were disconnected on my floor, the majority of elevators were not working causing unbelievable wait times for elevator, there was a fake fingernail on the floor of my room, clothes iron in closet but no ironing board, was mildly shocked plugging and unplugging items in outlet behind night table, the HVAC unit in room was very loud, the beds were very worn and uncomfortable. I only stayed one night and did not complain to management about the issues listed above. When the fire alarm was triggered while I was in the elevator heading down to meet my wife the elevator bypassed all stops and went directly to the lobby. When I asked a staff member where I could find the stairs he was very rude and was not helpful. He would only tell me that there was no access to stairs from where I was. He never offered an alternative way to get upstairs to my wife. I figured it out on my own and went outside to the casino adjacent to hotel and used their elevator. It was New Years Eve and I paid about $200 w taxes and fees for this room. This place is not worth anything near that price. The hotel looks like it was once a pretty swanky place but has been neglected and needs a major overhaul.
