Being one of the oldest homes in Monroe, The Cottage offers a unique character like no other. This home is completely restored and renovated & located in the beautiful historic district. This home is unique with so many features that you will LOVE! Enjoy the wonderful outdoor spaces, in-ground pool, and outdoor fire pit while you're on property. Perfect for Group Getaways!

This getaway house is spacious and perfect for a group of six. The pool was great, with different depths for everyone to enjoy. The whole town was calm and peaceful ā€” a very relaxing atmosphere.We did spot two large cockroaches near the outdoor dining table, but luckily we didnā€™t see any inside the house. Overall, the vibe was great and we had a lot of fun.Some of our group members who prefer really hot showers were a bit disappointed, as the water didnā€™t get hotter than lukewarm.Still, the host was very responsive and quick to reply, which we really appreciated!

Just Lovely !

Beautiful property inside and out. Patrick was the primary owner I communicated with and was very kind and attentive. The interior was very spacious and so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. We did not use the pool area but it was set up so nicely and was perfect for a family! Large yard too. Great area and so close to town.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house has historic charm while still being updated for modern conveniences. We really enjoyed the pool in the hot summer temperatures. The location is very convenient to downtown shopping and restaurants. We are already looking at dates to book next year.

Most relaxing getaway

This vacation home was simply incredible! The architecture features in the home make it so special & the modern updates make it perfect! We enjoyed our time on the enormous front porch reading, listening to rain & watching the people go by. The farmhouse dining table was used to enjoy several home cooked meals & family game night. However the spacious and refreshing pool was the only place to spend those hot & humid Georgia afternoons. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable & wonderful family getaway!

Amazing!

I can't stress AMAZING enough! Very Roomy, Very Clean, Very convenient to everything!!! We stayed for two nights since our daughter was getting married in a venue close tot he house. It truly was PERFECT! Beds were super soft. Plenty of room for our crowd and visitors coming in and out! I would highly recommend this house. Also, the owners were so kind and thoughtful...for us to have a wedding weekend and people running in and out they understood and worked really well with us!

Weekend Stay at The Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at The Cottage in Monroe. The beautiful historic home is clean and spacious with restored hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. The wide front porch and well-equipped pool and patio area were especially relaxing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and our hosts supplied everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The downtown Monroe area is walkable with fabulous restaurants and cute shops. I highly recommend Jordan and Patrick as your hosts!

Delightful Stay at Charming and Spacious Home with Wonderful Homeowners

Nice cozy house

Nice quiet neighborhood with lots of things to do. It was a few blocks away from downtown which is great for my family no traffic noise. House was clean and management was quick to respond. I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your house.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this adorable cottage home. We got to spend wonderful quality time together for a family wedding weekend. Came to Monroe for a family wedding. Our stay at this house was just perfect. House is very beautiful, clean and beds were so comfortable. It is very close to restaurants and downtown. The hosts are awesome to work with and communicated to make sure we had everything we needed. We accidentally left some personal items when checking out and they were so accommodating and kind to make sure we got items back. Overall stay and experience was the best. If you are looking for a place to stay in Monroe book this place as itā€™s a gem.

Great getaway

Our stay was great. The property is awesome. We should have asked how deep the pool was before hand. The deepest point is probably 7 feet. Weā€™re not excellent swimmers so we just stayed by the steps most of the time. I would definitely book This property again. The location was great too.

Great Retreat

We were in town for nephew's wedding. Location was perfect, close to all events. The house was so comfortable, especially the backyard pool area. This house allowed us a nice retreat to relax and truly enjoy all wedding events. Would highly recommend this property.
