"We had a lovely time at the cabin despite some rain during our stay. The cabin is small and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace most nights and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We visited the nearby state parks and even made it to the Hinckley Fire Museum. The cabin was just as it shows in the photos. It is off a busy road and one can hear vehicles most times when outside on the property, but traffic was definitely lighter into the evening hours which was nice."

"Stayed here for the weekend and the pictures don’t do it justice. It was a beautiful home and property. It was the perfect mix of cozy cabin and modern home. I was in the area to do a trail run so wasn’t at the place the entire time, but it was definitely a place I could hang out all weekend. Lots of outdoor seating and relaxation areas. "It was great! Our 16 year old foster daughter wasn't overly impressed (she wanted more space!) and decided to sleep in the car with our dog, LOL, but it was a lot of fun! Great memories! Cute place and would be wonderful for a romantic getaway or little retreat in the woods."

"The cabin has a great layout, with a fantastic open kitchen for cooking and socializing. The owner made some thoughtful seasonal touches, to make the space inviting as well upon arrival. We were able to set up in the backyard on a clear night and take some astrophotography in addition to enjoying the large bon fire pit. It's also just up the road from the city of sandstone, and Banning State Park which has lots of great hiking trails, the Kettle River, and some waterfalls. Would definitely book...
