"Nice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive...

"Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future."

Initially, I didn’t have very high expectations (despite the good reviews), but those quickly changed once we arrived. The location was peaceful and quiet, the car park was large and well-planned, and the room exceeded my expectations—it was far more spacious than any hotel room I’ve stayed in before....

"Best spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. "
