"The Red Lion was "going under new ownership" upon our arrival. We were the first customers. The facility was historic and quaint. The food was good although it was obvious things were just getting going. I felt safe and it was nice to be in a lovely English village for the evening. "This is a great place to stop over, the reception staff are lovely and really helpful, I think the ladies name was Sarah. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was not as good, the fan didn’t work which has subsequently made the metal toilet roll holders and other metal items rusty and the bath was badly chipped which made it look dirty. We had 2 large double beds that were clean and comfortable with extra pillows I would stay there again. "
