"The house wasn't in perfect condition, but it was well furnished and we had no huge problems during our stay. We couldn't key in the door unlock code, so we had to wait for the host to call back, and explain where the key was hidden. The 2 kayaks were nice, but we could only find one paddle. The steps down to the beach were rickety, but not dangerous. The deck furniture was comfortable, and we enjoyed having plentiful bedrooms and showers. "

"Was a beautiful property nice beach although the stairs going down to it were dangerous they need to be rebuilt also bbq tanks were empty cost me 40 dollars to get a tank One of my friends stepped on a fastener going down steps it went through his shoe and into his foot overall it was a great stay"

"First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

"The view from the house and the glass windows were gorgeous! The property was nice and clean. The only caveat here is the listing hasn't mentioned it's a very very steep slope before you can access another 50+ steps to go to the beach. There was no way my mother could come down that hike to access the steps. So we had to drive down to the lower road to access the steps and there is no parking on the lower road( which is the entrance steps to the beach) for the people living on the upper road ....

"Remote and quiet. Great for getting away from everything. The beach was 5 minutes away, and we had it to ourselves. The outdoor space was well thought out, and the bunkie was a nice hang out space, even if you don't need it for sleeping space. Only downside, and nothing the owners can control, is sulfur well water. The owners provide a filter, which helps, but consider bringing some drinking water. "

"This property should be called sunset beach. The views are spectacular and the hosts have paid attention to every detail inside and outside the property. Cottage is modern and cozy and was immaculately clean. Hosts were wonderful! Quick to respond and also reached out to ensure we didn’t need for anything! We will definitely be back!"

"We rented this property with our extended family included 3 kids: 3,4,5! The property was so well set up for both adults and kids to enjoy. The deck has the best view of the lake and beautiful sunsets, with comfortable outdoor furniture and a large patio umbrella for some shade when needed. "The cabin was very cute and if you're looking for a cabin to spend the weekend at, this is your spot. We went when nobody else was in the other cabin so it was nice to have a little area to ourselves. Make sure to bring a board game or book as there is no tv and wifi is VERY iffy. The swimspa was great but we were unaware it was located in a totally different building- our mistake though. "

"You can tell the owners love this cottage. So many thoughtful details and care in this home. we stayed for two nights and definitely could have stayed longer. A quick note- both neighbours are very close as the property is beautiful but narrow. They were blasting music very loudly most of the day and both nights but graciously turned it down when we asked, but we could still hear it through the walls. This is not something the owners can control though. Normally I wouldn't care about music but...

"We really enjoyed our 1 week stay from 17-24 Aug at this property. The listing info and pictures were an accurate reflection on what we saw and experienced, and the focal point we dealt with on the booking was fantastic in keeping us up to date and informed with useful info. A very nice property with stunning views of the sunsets on Lake Huron, and the city of Bayfield was an excellent place to relax and get into vacation mode. We would highly recommend this property. "
