BACK IN BUSINESS AFTER HELENE. WATER, POWER, INTERNET ARE ALL WORKING. ARTIST DISTRICT, BILTMORE HOUSE, RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN.

Your own private suite, spa bath, double shower, lounging area, eating area, private entrance, deck, and fire pit for our guests.

Our guests confirm that WE ARE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

As we move into our tenth year with Vacation Rentals, our goal remains the same: To provide our guests with a safe location to stay and super clean accommodations. We use the recommendations of the CDC for disinfecting between each visiting guest. We use plush towels, hand towels, and wash cloths.

We have three new features to ensure our guests have an exceptional time in Asheville. First, we have added a fire pit with supplied fire wood provided as an optional feature and for a slight additional fee. Second, we now have a whole house generator so our guests have an uninterrupted power source while here. And, third, we just installed a new mini-split air conditioning unit so guests have complete control over their room temperature and can be comfortable year around.

When you stay with us, we look out for you…we turn on extra lights when you come and go and we’ll help you with anything you might need while you’re here. As many of our guests have stated in their reviews, we are close and easily accessible to everything in the Asheville area. In addition to Asheville, we’re midway between Black Mountain and Cherokee in the Great Smoky Mountains. Many of our guests have commented that our suite is bigger than the picture looks – it is over 500 square feet! We offer high-end bedding with a NEW pillow-top mattress, separate seating area, a dining table, hotel quality bath linens and bath amenities, large spa tub bath and separate double shower, and private deck/porch with lovely views of the mountains. Paved entrance and reserved parking allow guests to come & go as they please. For your entertainment while lounging in your seating area or from your bed, we offer Charter Spectrum Live Streaming Television, Hulu, Prime Video, Paramount Plus, and others. For your listening pleasure, Spectrum offers multiple music channels, and free WIFI. Also in the suite is a DVD player, microwave oven, Keurig Coffee Maker, and refrigerator/freezer. Uber Cab and Lyfte are available to and from the location at 72 Candler Knob Road, Asheville. 28806. We have well over 300 five-star reviews from VRBO and other rental sites. Fantastic visit!
The place was just as described and easy to find. Even though it’s in a neighborhood it felt very private. Exceptionally clean and set up perfect for a place to hang out and sleep when we weren’t touring the area. Will definitely re-book the next time we’re headed to Asheville.

We had tickets to the Glass exhibition and didn't want hotel. The cabin is at the top of a narrow, steep driveway, on a less than desirable road. But the cabin was perfect for us! Clean, quiet, beautiful grounds and everything we wanted. We hadwonderful

Excellent all around
We thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day weekend stay at Top O' the Knob, which is aptly named. Ken and Patti are gracious hosts and welcomed us before, during and after our visit to their spotless and meticulously maintained chalet. I feel very fortunate we were able to secure this property despite my late near last minute search for a 40th anniversary weekend getaway location on what proved to be a very busy travel weekend. Highly recommend this location. It was extremely homey and a very relaxing stay with some much needed comfort after a long travel day and a visit to Biltmore. Thanks for your hospitality and sharing your lovely space with us.

This was my first time using one of these. The places was nice, clean and well organized. The hosts (Ken and Patti) were great, very accommodating. Only stayed 2 nights so we were not at the place very much, but would definitely consider staying there again.

Fantastic Property and Location
My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this great place. Check in was easy, and the hosts communicated with us very clearly prior to arrival. They greeted us when we arrived and let us know to text them if we needed anything. The room is spacious and clean. It had dishes for two which was nice to have at our disposal. The little refrigerator worked well for our needs. We appreciated the separate air conditioning unit and overhead fan which kept the room nice and cool. The bathroom has two sinks which is very convenient, and the shower is a walk-in which makes it accessible to most people. The bed was comfortable and sheets nice and clean. The property is well-maintained and the backyard feels like you're a million miles away even though it's conveniently located. We did not get the chance to use the fire pit, but would love to the next time we stay. Overall, a great experience, and we would book again!

The perfect stop
From SW Florida to Charleston, Asheville, over to Ellijay then to Vero Beach Florida, then back to SW Florida. This stop was the perfect place to stay for a few days while touring Asheville. Great communication, private, and clean. Big bathroom, private parking spot, and quiet.

Cozy Room on the edge of Ashville
We were in town to visit the Biltmore and explore the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Room and property are perfectly maintained by Ken and Patti. The hosts were very helpful with location and attractions information in the Ashville area. This is is a nice quite location just minutes from anywhere in Ashville. Good access to the Biltmore or to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Ashville next.

Peace Among the Lilies
The cottage porch looks out into a well-maintained garden featuring various types of lily in addition to other flowers, shrubs, and trees. After day trips to the trails and tubing of Bryson City (~1 hr) and to Asheville for wandering or running, just sitting in a mosquito-free chair+foot rest and sipping a drink while looking at this vista was perfect!

We stayed here to celebrate a 60th birthday and we were very pleased. This relaxing cabin in close to everything in Asheville. We enjoyed the porch and listening to all the robins , bluejays, crows and more. We will be back!

Quiet & Peaceful place.
Warm welcome from the hosts greeted us to this quiet suite around back. Clear and simple directions and easy checkin. Lovely and large room with many amenities. Big bathroom with strong water pressure. Nice private porch, too. We took the hosts suggestion and took the Trolley in Asheville for a 2-hour tour. Twenty minutes to Biltmore Estate. Ken and Patti were so pleasant and friendly and the private suite around the back was just so very well done. Relaxing, private and quiet place. Highly recommend. Thanks!

It is hard to find an affordable place to stay in Asheville and Top of the Knob doesn't disappoint. It is very spacious, far larger than a hotel room and the front porch is nice and a great place to just sit and enjoy. We were about 15 min from downtown which was very doable. Highly recommend. The garden is fabulous too!

Top Of The Knob was the perfect place for a quiet getaway very clean, perfect setting with a beautiful view . Great distance to our visit at the Biltmore . Patti & Ken were so pleasant and informative. The outdoor fire pit was a great extra and we enjoyed and quiet evening there, looking at the stars. We hope to go back again

First Visit to Asheville
Ken and Patti were perfect host giving us the privacy we wanted, and attentive to our needs and questions. Top O' The Knob provided a wonderful "Get Away" accommodations for us to explore Asheville for the first time. It was was quiet and comfortable with a great view from the front porch. Unfortunately, Mother Nature gave us a chilly windy week, so we were not able to enjoy the porch or firepit area. Hope to do that the next time we're visiting Asheville area. Only 10 to 20 minutes away from the Biltmore and other Asheville destination.

Very nice cottage style rental. Very clean with all the amenities you need. Location was convenient to West Asheville. The owners extremely nice and offered help if needed. Check in smooth, and parking convenient. A shirt walk to the cottage from the parking space though.
