I stayed in the Roundette cabin for 3 days in early August 2023, and wish I could have stayed longer! The property and area is so peaceful, with so much space between lodgings it felt like it was just me, the farm animals, the koi, and nature!
The cabin had every I needed to cook healthy meals, pack picnic lunches for my BRP drives each day, rest, relax, and reflect. Wifi was great; I had to log into work a few hours each day. Hot tub was much appreciated after hours in the car and walking the towns of Asheville, Weaverville, and Black Mountain (my favorite for eats at Open Oven and shopping!)
I was travelling to see Asheville for the first time in 20 years - what a vibrant, walkable town! Make it a point to stop at the visitor center first.
Frank made the entire VRBO experience seamless, from booking, to reminders, check in, and check out.
One day it rained until noon; I still enjoyed the hot tub, and went to the nearby BRP visitor center/HQ and then to the Folk Art Center. The NC Museum of Minerals was also an interesting stop.
Other little trips included a fabric store in Fletcher for quilting supplies; drum circle downtown on Friday night, and many photos I'll treasure of the BRP overlooks.
Grocery stores Food Lion and Ingles are just a few miles from the property, and still in Fairview. Make sure you fuel up well before getting on the BRP.
I would definitely book with Frank and his Inn at Fairview Cove property again!
